It may not be winter (yet), but temperatures have plummeted this past week and the Cake HQ was not prepared to say the least. To help you combat cracked hands, chapped lips and parched legs this season, we rounded up our top tips and tricks to make dry skin a thing of the past!

1. Scrub Often.

If you’re prone to dry, dehydrated skin, exfoliation is a must! Using a scrub on a regular basis keeps flaky skin at bay and helps to smooth and soften. Try a scrub with hydrating ingredients like Delectable's Triple Citrus Blend Butter Wash Body Polish. This creamy exfoliator is packed with shea butter so it won’t dry out your skin. PS: Did we mention the addicting citrus scent?

2. Wash With Care.

As much as a steamy shower seems tempting in the cold weather, make sure you wash with care. Hot water can be extremely drying on the skin, so try to use a gentle, hydrating body wash. Our Triple Citrus Blend Butter Wash Body Polish doubles as a cleanser, so you can check off tips 1 & 2 in a single step - score!

3. Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize.

There's no such thing as too must moisture during the cold winter months. Opt for a thicker formula like a body butter over a body lotion to prevent dry, itchy skin. Try our Triple Citrus Blend Body Butter Cream - it has a richly whipped texture that's packed with shea butter but won't feel heavy or greasy on the skin!

Stop cracked hands before it happens with a good hand cream – and make sure to take it with you everywhere! We love keeping travel-size tubes handy at all times, like our limited edition Dream Cream Hand Cream Set (tip: they also make great stocking stuffers!)
